ABOUT THE MADE IN MICHIGAN FESTIVAL
2020 Event Cancelled
In four short years, the Allen Park Downtown Development Authority has
grown its Made in Michigan Festival from a simple one day, one block
event to today’s jam-packed four block, two day festival. Each year we’ve
added new attractions to the delight of visitors and vendors alike. There’s
so much to celebrate about Michigan, we might never stop growing.
The Allen Park Downtown Development Authority (DDA) fuels downtown
Allen Park’s economic vitality. The DDA is a special purpose district established by its over 400 businesses to undertake public improvements. The DDA’s public projects spur private investment to the benefit of businesses and residents alike. Since its creation in 1991, the DDA has completed capital improvement projects, welcomed new and expanding businesses, funded facade grants, hosted special events, and much more. We invite you to tour our delightful mid-century district while at the Made in Michigan Festival.
My how we’ve grown. See pictures of the festival 2016-2018.
